At least 5000 Auckland properties being assessed for flood or landslide damage.
Auckland Emergency Management Controller Rachel Kelleher said 72 council inspectors were doing rapid inspections yesterday.
We cast the net wide then get more specific, she said.
“We’ve had teams starting from 7.30 this morning. There are 130 inspectors” and there are also 15 from outside Auckland. There is support from structural and geotechnical engineers.
They are getting aerial footage to rapidly assess where the priorities are.
More than 5000 properties need some level of assessment.

以后买房子都要加一条， subject to insurance claim history , 要求房东出示保险索赔记录。 不然买一个水泡过的， 一辈子就毁了。
中介肯定会说， 不用担心， 或者不可能之类的话， 遇到这样的中介， 头也不要回， 走人！

其实这些房子就是受损也问题不大，维修一下还是好的。问题是这次泡了，下次还会，因为是位置的问题。所以。。。。。
