想请问下，正常情况下，这个律师应该在settlement date 前多久提供， 因为后天就settlement date 了？
买的apartment，除了10% 和stamp duty，我算律师费1500，一般再多准备多少就够了？2000？

The solicitor would advise you one day prior to the settlement when they get the settlement figure from the vendor's solicitor

make sure you have signed the authorization form for the bank to withdrawal money from your nominated bank account, or u have to prepare and send the cheque on the day.
$2000 buffer is enough.

我们是settle前一天晚上给的，自己只要确保钱在指帐户里，settle时自动扣走

Thanks, exactly, tried to ring the conveyancer , but she didn't answer my call, so before reaching out to her boss, the solicitor, better to clarify the time frame within which she should provide the statement. As you've mentioned, it is normal to have the settlement statement ready one day prior to the settlement date, I will just wait it out then,
