I've been trying home made potato chips and wedges in the air fryer but can't get them to go crispy.
I'm making them from scratch, not bought frozen.
Tried soaking in water for an hour
boiling for 10mins,dry, then air fry
sprayed with rice bran oil.
200C in the airfryer basket
tried cutting both thick and thin.
I've tried supermarket白色,棕色,紫色的马铃薯,结果相同。

Google says to use Russet variety but can't find that here, and I'm not about to drive across town to some gourmet grocer just to find potato.
Any ideas before I succumb to buying frozen chips?

1, cut the potato's and then thoroughly coating in a mixing pan
2, do not stack them up in the fryer
3, make sure you are not sitting them on a flat surface, it really needs to be a mesh basket
4, Every 5 min you really need to agitate/turn them

I've tried countless methods, and IMO it's the best way to make crispy chips at home.
To make them even crispier, I first deep-fry them for a couple of minutes, which seals the chips so that the oil doesn't penetrate too deeply and make them soggy.
I then lift the mesh basket and let it drain for a minute or so before returning it to the oil and cooking to perfect crispiness.
