澳大利亚人房屋贷款公司（Aussie Home Loans）的研究表明，同性伴侣的房贷数量不断增加，女性伴侣更有可能联合起来买房。
调查显示，18财年55％的同性共同住房贷款是女性 - 高于2014财年的50％。此外，大约一半的同性联合贷款是已婚或事实婚姻（男性占59％，女性占45％）。
房贷也有性别差
数据发现，女性住房贷款平均比男性房贷贷款晚三年还清。女性平均需要41年还清房贷，男性则是38年。
男性的房贷额一般更高，男性联合贷款平均为337,182澳元，而女性联合贷款平均为316,405澳元。
Aussie Home Loans的首席执行官James Symond表示，“不幸的是，房屋贷款中男女之间存在明显的性别差距，我认为，根源在于始终难以消除的男女收入差。”
“我们的数据显示，单身男性客户的平均个人收入比单身女性高出17％，而男同比女同客户则高出12％。
Symond先生说：“显著的收入性别差是延迟女性进入房产市场的根本原因。”
男同联合投资贷款比例更高，而女同联合贷款主要是固定利息贷款。
研究发现，墨尔本和悉尼的内西区最受同性伴侣青睐。
“墨尔本的Yarraville，Craigieburn和Brunswick是澳大利亚女同房贷最多的区，而悉尼的Redfern，Surry Hills和Newtown则男同房贷最多。”

• 29 per cent of LGBTQI Australians have faced discrimination when dealing with a financial institution in Australia
• 56 per cent of transgender Australians have faced discrimination from financial institutions
• 90 per cent of transgender Australians are worried about being able to financially provide for themselves and their family
• 69 per cent of LGBTQI Australians believe they require a unique approach to ensure a level playing field with other Australians
