Ten Victorians have died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours, including a man in his 40s.
Premier Daniel Andrews on Sunday announced 459 new cases of COVID-19 across the state on Sunday.
The national death toll is now at 155, with 71 of those occurring in Victoria.
Of the ten new deaths, seven were reported in males aged between 40 and 89 and three women in their 70s and 80s.
It continues a horror weekend for the state after Victoria on Saturday reported 357 new cases and five deaths.
