墨尔本一名妇女5年间冒领福利金10万澳元，被判坐牢两个半月

墨尔本一名母亲在过去5年中从Centrelink冒领10万多元福利金支持她的奢侈生活，被判监禁。
Jade Cheasley 告诉 Centrelink 她和3个孩子住在车里以便领取单身母亲福利金。
实际上，她和孩子还有丈夫居住在他们位于Craigieburn 区的豪宅里。
在Cheasley领取福利金的一年中（从 2013年开始）， 其丈夫David 经营的屋顶生意营业额达到了近100万元。
这家人把这笔钱用于购买船只，汽车，在维州边远地区的两个房产，以及2015年去夏威夷的家庭度假。
这名31岁的妇女今天因为欺诈被判处两个半月的监禁。
她将继续保留在法院命令上18个月，并且必须退还冒领的金钱。
判决时， 法官Mark Dean说她犯有“系统化的欺诈，动机就是用来补贴家庭收入，反过来用这笔钱维持奢侈生活方式。”
“在本案中，没有证据表明她艰难度日或者贫穷。”
这对夫妻是被公众举报的。

A Melbourne mother has been jailed for rorting Centrelink of more than $100,000 over five years to fund her family's luxury lifestyle.
Jade Cheasley told Centrelink she was living in her car with her three children so that she could claim welfare payments as a single parent.
In reality, she was living with her children and her husband in their Craigieburn mansion.
During one year Cheasley received welfare payments – which started in 2013 – husband David turned over almost a million dollars from his roofing business.
The family spent the money on boats, cars, two properties in regional Victoria and family holidays including a trip to Hawaii in 2015.
The 31-year-old was today sentenced to two-and-a-half months in jail for the fraud.
She will remain on a court order for 18 months and has to repay the money she stole.
In sentencing her, Judge Mark Dean said she was guilty of "systematic dishonesty… which was motivated solely to supplement the family income which in turn was used to fund your entitled lifestyle."
"There is no evidence of hardship or poverty in this case."
The couple was dobbed in by members of the public.
