The Minns government will spend almost half a billion dollars to build a state-of-the-art pathology service in western Sydney with an upgraded high-security lab for testing dangerous infectious diseases to prepare for future pandemics.
The 2025-26 state budget will include $492 million for the NSW Health Pathology Statewide Hub, including replacing the outdated laboratory at Westmead Hospital that was built half一个世纪前。
