Shark nets could be taken out of some of NSW’s most popular beaches this summer as the Minns government faces pressure from councils.
The Daily Telegraph reports Waverley, Northern Beaches, and Central Coast councils have all been asked to nominate one beach to go shark net free after pushing to have them removed due to marine life concerns.
