Queensland Police have shot a man in his 30s, wanted for alleged serious criminal offences, at a Townsville shopping centre on Sunday, with detectives then cordoning off the area.
Two crime scenes were established after Townsville police were called to Thuringowa Central at 3.16pm.

Acting Superintendent Damien Crosby said the man, 31, was known to police and wanted for a string of alleged serious criminal offences.
It is unclear whether the man was armed when he was shot by police in a loading dock at Willows Shopping Centre, according to The Courier Mail.
