Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway filmed the Devil Wears Prada sequel in New York City on Monday, just blocks away from a deadly mass shooting at a neighboring Midtown Manhattan office building.
The duo, along with costar Stanley Tucci, filmed scenes at 1221 Avenue of the Americas — which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the scene of the tragedy — at least three hours before the shooting occurred.
DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for the three actors for comment but did not immediately hear back.
