Tell me about it!
每个学习英语的人都迟早要碰到这个让人出一身汗的短语。Tell me about it!的字面含义很明白，就是让你把故事细细讲来听；我第一次听到的时候，是真的开始给对方仔细讲故事的.....人家是老油条，知道亚洲人都要在这个短语上栽跟头，很快就制止了我.....
这个短语的真正含义是完全赞同你，完全感同身受的意思。听到以后说啥都行，就是别真的开始讲故事...
A: Dude. Now i totally agree with what Jamie said the other day: the first 40 years of being a parent is the hardest.
B: Tell me about it. I have 5 kids!

和“you are telling me" 一样的吧~~~这个中文我觉得应该翻成“快别说了”“还用你说嘛”正好和英文的相反。。。。有趣。。。

It means "I wouldn't take such a foolish position, but if you insist, I'll pretend to almost agree with you."
Or, "I'm not convinced, but I can't prove you wrong, so I'll let it pass."

no..."let me tell you about it" is aggressive and hostile.

Background: a woman in the office is annoyingly loud. When she speaks on phone, everybody in the office can hear the conversation. People find it hard to focus on work.
Conversation:
A: Gosh that woman is so loud. My head aches and I can’t do a single thing!
B: Tell me about it! I sit next to her!

这二句都加了说明 "I have 5 kids!"， "I sit next to her!"。。。，口气上还是能听出来的。
如果只说tell me about it. 话赶着话就会犯错误了。
