澳洲Kluger拆第三排座椅DIY

在澳大利亚汽车





目的:1.减轻重量,省油。2.腾出空间装其他有意义的货物。3.把第三排车座下面彻底清洁一下。

家里就三个人,买了个7座Kluger。感觉挺费油,短途百公里18L汽油不是开玩笑的。听说除了控制好自己踩油门的右脚之外,还可以减轻没必要的负担来节油。于是我开始研究去掉第三排座椅,这个三十几公斤的累赘。座椅拆下来后,暂时放在车库里。等以后老人来帮忙了,需要第三排座椅了,再装回去也可以嘛。

当然另一个好处就是相比之前,多了很多储物空间

看了ToyotaNation论坛,只有一个大哥写了具体自己是怎么做的,还没有照片。不过我还是受益匪浅,知道怎么拆座椅了。

How to remove the third row seat

Okay, I've been contacted by a member who wanted me to post how to remove the third row seat in the 2008 Highlander, so what follows are instructions, to the best of my memory, for how to remove the seat. If I missed anything, don't shoot me. If I could figure it out and remove the seat in about an hour, then any errors I may make are not insurmountable by my fellow forum members. With that said, here's how you do it....

First, remove the right and left side deckboards. At the bottom of the left side storage bin you'll find two black "finger" screws, unscrew them. On the right side you'll have to remove the jack from its storage location by removing the elastic strap and removing the upper foam block. Then remove the lower foam block, which is lightly glued into place. Note that the foam block also has multiple tabs that stick through holes in the plastic storage bin. I found that by slowly and steadily pulling on the foam with increasing force with one hand, while guiding the foam tabs out of their holes with the other, I was able to remove the block with almost no damage. Once the foam block is removed, unscrew the two black "finger" screws at the bottom of the bin. Also, note that when you remove these two bins IT ISN'T EASY. You'll have to use lots of force to do it, as well as a bit of creative pulling and bending to get them free, but they will come free. Once the two bins are removed, we move on to the next step.

If you look down into the opening left by the bins you'll see two thin black posts that help support the center deck board which contains your jacking tools (no pun intended). Use a crescent wrench or socket wrench to remove the bolt/bolts holding each post in place to the floor of the vehicle. Once the small bolts are removed simply pull out the center deck board, which will expose the four large bolts (two per side) that hold down the third row seat. Remove those bolts. Before you try pulling out the seat, remember to pull the seat belts out from the seat. It's easiest if you have someone pushing from the front side while you're pulling from the back side. This was necessary as there is a fabric sheath/apron in the way, preventing you from unbolting the belts and just removing them with the seat. At least that's how I did it since I didn't want to damage the sheath/apron in case I wanted to sell or reuse the seat.

Once you've removed the seat just unbolt and remove the seatbelts. Reassemble and/or replace the parts in the reverse order that you removed them and you're done. To each his own, but I put several low priority items, such as jumper cables and a back-up bicycle pump, in the main well left by the missing seat. Then I placed a couple of thick blankets to use for soundproofing (just in case, but I really don't think any sound suppression is necessary for this vehicle), as well as to help fill out the empty space. Then I placed the floor mat back over it and bingo, it's done. Even though the back slopes toward the rear seats I don't mind as items I place back there do not slide around and therefore I do not need any restraining straps for shifting cargo. And camping? Just two weeks ago I had to sleep in the vehicle as 40+ MPH winds did not allow for even getting the dang tent set-up, and with the blankets in place it smoothed out the back and I slept flat, snug as a baby.

哈哈,楼上的太逗了。话槽理不糙。重点的是丰田超保值,隔壁贴有个17个年头的RAV4卖高价。所以可以高价卖了,换省油车。或者努力多赚点,拆了那三十多公斤的椅子,不知道你能省多少钱。如果要装货,第三排第二排直接平躺下来不是一样吗?何必费力拆了以后再装呢。这思路,我真的狠不明白....
