Nationals Senator Matt Canavan says he is “worried where the country is going” as he challenges David Littleproud for the Nationals leadership position.
“I do believe our party needs a choice, deserves a choice of leader, I think our country deserves a choice, and I don’t think they were really given that at the election,” Mr Canavan told Sky News Australia.
“I’ve stood up to run here, as I say我非常担心我们的国家要去哪里。我们正在失去工作，失去财富，失去了悠闲的文化。
“我们必须为此而战，在上次选举中，我认为我们没有足够努力……我们没有提出任何真正激进的变化来解决它。”
