btw my dad only stay in Australia for 3 months each year is he entiled to the 18000 tax free threshold pro-rata ?

He will give me some cash toincrese equity of my current home loan in order to increse LVR on the new loan . We do this for tax purpose cuz he ATO took 30c out of a dollar on int earned of his TD
