accc unfortunately is not automatic... not sure what success folks have had vs nissan and mitsubishi so far to take through acl...
ACCC ruled on the Mitsi/Nissan 10-year warranty when it was released and said it was ok.
Mainly because the vehicles have a 5-year warranty as standard (serviced anywhere) which is extended to 10 years if serviced at dealers.

Mitsubishi are quite good with ACL claims – I had a CVT gearbox replaced on my 2016 Outlander after 8 years and 100,000km, all major gearbox services had been done at a dealer though.
